Samsung Launches Dedicated Robotics Division

Samsung has established the Robotics eXperience (RX) division, overseen directly by CEO TM Roh. The unit will manage long-term strategy and core technology development, with former Hyundai and Boston Dynamics executive Lee Dongkun leading the Robotics Strategy Team.

The company plans to deploy humanoid robots in its own semiconductor and appliance factories by late 2026. These facilities will serve as testing grounds before Samsung expands into retail and consumer home markets.
