FCC Targets DJI Rebranders

The FCC is moving to ban nine companies suspected of selling re-shelled DJI drones and cameras in the U.S. The agency alleges these firms, including Xtra and Skyhigh Tech, are bypassing national security restrictions by marketing rebranded DJI hardware.

This proposal marks the first time the FCC may retroactively revoke equipment authorizations. The agency is accepting public comments for 30 days before finalizing the potential ban on these previously approved devices.
