Nvidia Launches Open Secure AI Alliance

Nvidia and over 40 partners, including Microsoft, Dell, and the Linux Foundation, have launched the Open Secure AI Alliance. The initiative aims to develop open-source tools and models for cybersecurity, allowing defenders to inspect and adapt systems on their own infrastructure.

The coalition formed after a recent Hugging Face security incident, where proprietary AI guardrails blocked essential forensic analysis. Investigators successfully used an open-weight model to contain the breach instead.
