Google to Shift Pixel Production Out of China

Google has informed suppliers of plans to move the manufacturing of all Pixel smartphones, smartwatches, and wireless earbuds out of China. The company intends to complete this transition by 2027, following the successful development and production of high-end Pixel devices in Vietnam this year.

The company also plans to increase its 2026 Pixel phone shipments by 8 to 10 percent.
