Amazon Expands Prime Air Drone Deliveries

Amazon is expanding its Prime Air drone delivery service to the Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland, Boise, and Syracuse metro areas. The company plans to reach nearly 500 U.S. cities and towns by the end of 2026, representing a sixfold increase from its current footprint.

The drones are designed to deliver packages weighing up to 5 pounds in as little as 30 minutes. Amazon has already completed hundreds of thousands of drone deliveries in 2026.
