Hugging Face Opens Pre-Orders for Microduck Robot

Pollen Robotics, a subsidiary of Hugging Face, has launched pre-orders for the Microduck, a 25 cm tall bipedal robot. The device features 15 motors, a camera, LiDAR, and an articulated beak for grasping objects. It is designed for reinforcement learning and developers can train behaviors in simulation for deployment on the hardware.

The robot is priced at $399, with initial deliveries scheduled to begin before Christmas 2026.
