Japan Launches Humanoid Robot Ambulance

GMO Internet Group has introduced a specialized mobile repair vehicle in Tokyo designed to service malfunctioning humanoid robots. The van carries engineers, diagnostic tools, spare parts, and replacement units to commercial sites where robots have stopped working.

The service is currently limited to humanoids deployed by GMO AI & Robotics Trading. One vehicle is stationed at the company’s Tokyo headquarters as of September 2026.
