Google Home Adds Third-Party AI Support

Google has introduced support for third-party AI agents within the Google Home ecosystem using Model Context Protocol technology. Users can now integrate Anthropic’s Claude, OpenClaw, Hermes, and the Google Antigravity platform to control smart devices, manage automations, and generate security camera summaries.
This feature is currently available as an early access rollout for Google Home Premium Advanced subscribers in the United States at a cost of $20 per month.
