Waymo Announces Expansion to Singapore

Alphabet subsidiary Waymo plans to launch a fully autonomous, all-electric ride-hailing service in Singapore by 2028. The company is partnering with the Ministry of Transport and the Land Transport Authority to introduce the service, which will be accessible via the Waymo app.

Initial Jaguar I-PACE vehicles will arrive in the coming months. In 2027, specialists will conduct manual mapping and validation driving to adapt the system to local conditions.
