ByteDance Unveils Seedance 2.5 Video Model

ByteDance has introduced Seedance 2.5, an AI model capable of generating 30-second, 4K video clips from a single prompt. The update allows users to include up to 50 reference images, videos, or audio files, significantly increasing control compared to the 12 references supported by the previous version.

The model is scheduled for release in China next month. Its predecessor faced delays in the US due to concerns regarding the use of copyrighted training data.
