Polestar will stop selling new vehicle models in the US starting with the 2027 model year. The US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security issued the ban due to concerns over Chinese-made connected technology linked to Polestar’s parent company, Geely.

The automaker will continue selling existing Polestar 3 and 4 stock and maintaining its service network. It has no plans to introduce future models like the Polestar 7 in the US.
