Apple commits $30 billion to Broadcom for US chips

Apple has signed a multi-year deal with Broadcom to produce over 15 billion U.S.-made chips. The agreement includes a $1.5 billion investment to expand Broadcom’s manufacturing facility in Fort Collins, Colorado, focusing on radio frequency components and wireless connectivity technology.

This contract is the largest commitment under Apple’s American Manufacturing Program and supports the company’s broader pledge to invest $600 billion in the U.S. economy over four years.
