OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Work

OpenAI has released ChatGPT Work, a new productivity agent powered by GPT-5.6 models. Designed for complex tasks, it integrates with desktop apps, local files, and web tools to generate documents, dashboards, and prototypes. The tool features a built-in browser and a new Sites feature for creating interactive reports.

Available on macOS and Windows, the update also consolidates Chat, Work, and Codex into a single desktop application. OpenAI plans to discontinue its Atlas browser on August 9.
