The new integration allows Anthropic’s AI to sign into websites using your stored credentials without ever seeing the actual passwords or MFA codes. Users must approve each request via biometric authentication, and the data is injected directly into the browser through a secure channel.

1Password also launched Agentic Mode, which restricts AI agents to only the specific credentials granted for a single task, keeping the rest of your vault locked.
