OpenAI Expands Parental Alerts for Teen Accounts

OpenAI now notifies parents if their linked teen’s ChatGPT account is deactivated for violating policies regarding violent threats or acts of violence. These alerts are triggered by account-level enforcement and do not grant parents access to specific chat logs.

Additionally, parents can now enable Study Mode directly through their own parental control dashboard. This mode provides hints to students rather than direct answers.
