Tesla Integrates Starlink V5 into Cybercab

Tesla has confirmed that its upcoming Cybercab robotaxi will feature a factory-integrated Starlink V5 satellite antenna. The new hardware is 62% lighter and 35% smaller than the previous generation, offering speeds of 375 Mbps. The vehicle also includes 5G LTE and GPS antennas.

While the satellite link enables 4K streaming and passenger connectivity, Tesla clarified it is not required for safe driving. The car’s autonomous systems operate independently of the internet connection.
