Google Expands Ask Maps Capabilities

Google is expanding its Gemini-powered Ask Maps feature to over 150 countries and territories in English, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, and Mexico. The update introduces agentic capabilities, allowing users to order food through partners like Toast and Square, book hotels, and search for local events using conversational queries.

The feature now integrates with Personal Intelligence to provide recommendations based on Gmail and Google Calendar data, while also incorporating real-time transit information.
