Meta Donates 15,000 Smart Glasses to Vision Ireland

Meta is donating 15,000 pairs of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses to Vision Ireland, a national charity supporting individuals with sight loss. The devices feature built-in cameras, speakers, and AI technology designed to assist users in identifying objects, reading text, and managing hands-free calls.

Vision Ireland will manage the distribution process, including applications, eligibility assessments, and in-person training sessions funded by Meta.
