Uber and Zipline Announce Drone Delivery Partnership

Uber is partnering with drone operator Zipline to integrate autonomous delivery into the Uber Eats platform. The companies aim to reach one million daily drone deliveries by the end of 2029. Uber has also made an undisclosed strategic investment in Zipline to support the expansion.

Initial deployments are scheduled to begin later this year in existing Zipline markets, including Dallas and Houston, before expanding to dozens of additional U.S. cities.
