Waymo Announces Munich Expansion

Waymo is initiating preparations for a fully autonomous ride-hailing service in Munich, Germany. The company will begin manually driving vehicles in the city within the coming weeks to conduct high-definition mapping and collect data on local driving conditions.

Following this validation phase, Waymo aims to launch commercial ride-hailing services for the public toward the end of 2027.
