Sonos Unveils Sonos 27 Software Platform

Sonos has introduced Sonos 27, a rebranded audio operating system featuring a redesigned app and expanded AI integration. The platform includes Sonos 27voice for music curation and Sonos 27mcp, a framework allowing third-party AI agents like ChatGPT to control speaker systems. Users will also be able to create custom AI agents with unique personas.

New app navigation and Early Access features begin rolling out on September 8, 2026.
