Blue Origin Wins NASA Mars Communications Contract

NASA has awarded Blue Origin a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum potential value of approximately $700 million. The company is tasked with designing, developing, integrating, launching, and operating a high-performance telecommunications orbiter for Mars.

Blue Origin must deliver the orbiter to NASA no later than December 31, 2028. The network is expected to be operational at Mars by 2030.
