Uber Launches Robotaxis in London

Uber has officially launched a robotaxi service in London in partnership with British startup Wayve. The fleet consists of all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles equipped with Wayve’s AI technology and rooftop sensors. While the vehicles navigate traffic autonomously, a human supervisor remains behind the wheel for safety.

The service is currently in a phased deployment starting with dozens of vehicles. Fares are priced equal to conventional Uber rides.
