Google Updates European Search Results

l-intro-1788896240

Google has implemented changes to its search engine in Europe to comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act. The update removes integrated features like real-time pricing and direct booking tools for hotels, airlines, and restaurants, while prioritizing third-party price comparison sites in search rankings.

The company stated these adjustments represent the largest reduction in service quality in its 29-year history. This follows a €460 million fine issued by the European Commission.
