Google Launches Universal Cart AI Shopping Tool

Google has released its AI-powered Universal Cart tool across search and the Gemini app in the United States. The feature tracks price drops and stock availability for over 60 billion products within Google’s Shopping Graph, allowing users to save items and progress across different retailers.

The tool integrates with Google Wallet to identify promotional savings and manage checkout via the Universal Commerce Protocol. Google first previewed this functionality in May at its I/O developer forum.
