Meta and Apple Collaborate on Muse Spark Open AI Model

Meta has released Muse Spark Open, an open-weights AI model featuring 42 billion parameters and a one-million-token context window. The model is designed for agentic and coding tasks and is currently available on Hugging Face under Meta’s Muse Model license.

Apple collaborated with Meta to optimize the model for on-device performance on the M5 Ultra Mac Studio. Running the system requires two M5 Ultra Mac Studio units, which start at $5,499 each.
