Anthropic restores access to Fable and Mythos AI

Anthropic is bringing its Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models back online starting July 1. The Department of Commerce lifted export controls after the company committed to proactively detecting and addressing security risks.

Access was suspended on June 12 following government concerns regarding potential jailbreaks and unauthorized use by foreign nationals. The company is now restoring service after working closely with regulators to implement necessary safeguards.
