Gemini Spark lands on macOS

Google is bringing its agentic AI assistant, Gemini Spark, to the Gemini macOS app. The update allows the assistant to interact with local files, enabling users to automate tasks like sorting Downloads folders or creating spreadsheets from local invoices. Users can select specific “Connected folders” for the AI to access.

Spark is currently in beta for US-based Google AI Ultra subscribers. Future updates will enable remote task execution from mobile devices.
