Snap Schedules Specs AR Launch Event

Snap will host an event on September 16 in Los Angeles to provide an in-depth look at its new Specs augmented reality glasses. CEO Evan Spiegel is scheduled to demonstrate the device’s AI assistance, work tools, and entertainment features during the presentation.

The standalone glasses are currently available for pre-order at a price of $2,195. Shipments are expected to begin this fall in the United States, Britain, and France.
