OpenAI Releases ChatGPT Desktop App for Linux

OpenAI has launched a preview version of its official ChatGPT desktop application for Linux. The software provides access to ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex. It is currently available for installation via .deb or .rpm packages and supports both x64 and ARM64 architectures.

Supported distributions include Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and 26.04 LTS, Debian 13, and Fedora 43 and 44.
