Tech Coalition Calls for Cyber Defense Surge

More than 100 companies, including OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and Microsoft, published an open letter on Thursday calling for collective action on cybersecurity. The signatories warn that AI-enabled cyberattacks will become increasingly widespread and sophisticated in the coming months as models grow more capable.

The letter urges organizations, governments, and AI labs to prioritize cyber defense, share threat intelligence, and provide resources to protect critical infrastructure. The coalition includes over 100 participating organizations.
