Startup Atlas has opened pre-orders for the Atlas 1.0, a wearable EEG device that adheres to the skin behind the ear. The hardware tracks brain waves, electrodermal activity, head movement, and voice patterns to provide metrics on user presence, stress, and energy expenditure through a companion app.

The device is priced at $499, with an additional $29.99 monthly subscription required for sensor replacements and personalized insights.
