Tesla Launches Cybercab Robotaxi Service

Tesla has officially introduced its purpose-built Cybercab into its robotaxi fleet in Austin, Texas. The two-seater vehicle features no steering wheel or brake pedals and is designed specifically for autonomous ride-hailing. Users can now hail these vehicles through the Tesla app, which allows riders to select between the Cybercab and the existing Model Y fleet.

The company is currently authorized to operate 314 driverless vehicles in Texas, including 45 Cybercabs.
