Longshot Space Develops Kinetic Launch System

Longshot Space is developing a large-scale kinetic launch system designed to propel satellites into orbit without the use of traditional rockets. The company is currently testing a 6-inch prototype gun to evaluate the physics of horizontal launches and the ability of satellites to withstand high G-forces during the acceleration process.

The organization plans to scale its technology to a full-diameter version for future orbital missions.
