Amazon’s Zoox Unveils Updated Robotaxi

Zoox has revealed a new version of its purpose-built robotaxi designed for large-scale production. The updated model features improved rider comfort, including ergonomic bench seats, a more vivid touchscreen, and larger cupholders. Exterior changes include relocated bidirectional reflectors that rotate colors to clarify the vehicle’s direction.

Manufacturing will take place at the company’s Hayward, California facility. Zoox aims to ramp up production to 100 vehicles per week throughout 2026 to support fleet expansion.
