12 States Sue to Block Paramount-Warner Merger

A coalition of 12 states, led by California, filed a lawsuit to block Paramount Skydance’s $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. The states allege the deal violates antitrust law by reducing competition in film distribution and cable television licensing.
