Anthropic Implements AI Watermarking

Anthropic is introducing watermarks to text and files generated by its Claude AI models to comply with EU transparency regulations. These invisible markers, which include specific word sequencing and spacing, are designed to be detected by machine systems. The update applies to all Claude-generated content, including files like .svg, .png, and .jpg, across all platforms.

The new watermarking protocols apply to all Claude models launched on or after August 2.
