Google Allows Removal of Visible AI Watermarks
Google has introduced a new setting allowing users to disable visible watermarks on AI-generated images, videos, and audio. The feature applies to content created by the Nano Banana, Omni, and Lyria models within Gemini and the Flow video editor, with support for Google Search expected soon.
The update does not remove invisible SynthID watermarks or C2PA metadata, which remain embedded in all AI-generated files.
