Musk’s Companies Drop Apple Antitrust Lawsuit

X Corp. and SpaceXAI have filed to dismiss their antitrust claims against Apple in a Texas federal court. The lawsuit, originally filed in August 2025, alleged that Apple and OpenAI conspired to monopolize the generative AI market by integrating ChatGPT into Apple Intelligence. Apple did not oppose the motion to dismiss the claims with prejudice.

The legal action against OpenAI remains active as of September 14, 2026.
