Waymo Launches Robotaxi Service in Las Vegas

Waymo officially opened its autonomous ride-hailing service to the public in Las Vegas on September 14, 2026. The company is deploying its sixth-generation Ojai minivan fleet to serve an area spanning the Las Vegas Strip south of Highway 589 into Boulder Junction.

This expansion marks the 15th commercial market for the Alphabet-owned company. The service initially operates on an invite-only basis with dozens of vehicles.
