Apple Siri AI to Integrate Third-Party Models

Leaked builds for iOS 27 and MacOS Golden Gate indicate that Apple is integrating OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude into Siri AI. The framework allows users to delegate tasks to these models or replace Siri entirely with third-party agents. A demonstration showed GPT-5.6 accessing device emails and iMessages through the Siri interface.
The integration follows European Union Digital Markets Act requirements mandating third-party access to on-device software features.
