Microsoft Updates Windows Search

Microsoft is redesigning the Windows 11 search menu to function as a chatbot-like interface. Starting this fall, users will be able to execute thousands of system actions, such as adjusting volume, toggling dark mode, or sending text messages, by typing commands directly into the taskbar search box.

The update also enables direct interaction with the Copilot app through the search interface. Microsoft additionally introduced Hybrid Intelligence, a suite of tools allowing PCs to run AI models locally for file access and task execution.
