Snapchat Restricts AI Content in Spotlight

Snapchat has updated its recommendation systems to exclude fully AI-generated videos from its Spotlight feed. The platform now prioritizes content created by real people to maintain its focus on authentic user-generated media.

Creators may still use Snapchat’s internal AI tools to edit or enhance their clips. This policy change, announced on July 31, 2026, follows an initial reduction of AI content exposure implemented in April 2026.
