Google Launches Public SynthID Detector

Google has released its SynthID Detector website globally in English, allowing users to verify if images, videos, or audio files contain AI-generated watermarks. The tool supports content created by Google, OpenAI, NVIDIA, and Kakao, with Apple integration expected soon. Users must sign in with a Google, OpenAI, or Apple account to access the service.

Since 2023, Google has applied SynthID watermarks to over 180 billion images and videos and 240,000 years of audio.
