SpaceX to Acquire Nationwide Low-Band Spectrum

SpaceX has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Grain Management’s nationwide 800 MHz spectrum portfolio. The deal, valued at approximately $8 billion, provides the company with up to 14 megahertz of paired spectrum. This acquisition is intended to improve Starlink Mobile’s signal penetration for indoor coverage and support its development as a major U.S. mobile carrier.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval by the Federal Communications Commission.
