OpenAI launches the Codex Micro keypad

OpenAI has released its first hardware product, the $230 Codex Micro. Developed with peripheral maker Work Louder, the miniature keyboard is designed to monitor and control Codex AI agents. It features 13 RGB-lit status keys, a rotary dial for adjusting AI reasoning levels, and a joystick for workflow navigation.

The device connects via Bluetooth or USB-C and includes 32 interchangeable keycaps. Pre-orders are currently available through OpenAI’s Supply Co. store.
