Gemini Spark Gains Chrome Integration

Google has integrated its Gemini Spark AI agent with the Chrome browser, enabling the tool to perform automated web tasks. The feature allows the assistant to utilize a user’s logged-in accounts and saved passwords to handle processes such as flight research and apartment viewing scheduling.

Users must grant permission for the browser connection, and sensitive actions like payments require manual confirmation. The rollout began in the United States on August 3, 2026.
