Twitch and Amazon Face Class Action Lawsuit Over AI Training

Streamer Warren Pandiscia filed a class action lawsuit against Twitch and Amazon in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The complaint alleges the companies used creator content, including streams and videos, to train Amazon’s generative AI models without obtaining proper licenses, consent, or providing compensation to the creators.

Twitch previously introduced an opt-out setting for AI training on August 12, 2026.
